Pinellas County in cooperation with AARP Florida is scheduled to gather public input on pertinent community issues at an “Age Friendly Listening Session” on Tuesday, March 26th from 10:30 – 11:30 at The Centre at 1500 16th Street in Palm Harbor. The public is encouraged to attend to provide input on the following topics: • Civic Participation & Employment • Communication & Information • Community Health Services • Emergency Management • Housing • Outdoor Spaces & Buildings • Public Safety & Security • Respect & Social Inclusion • Social Participation • Transportation Officials state that the feedback gathered will be instrumental in helping local government develop an action plan to assist in the efforts of building an age-friendly community. The public can RSVP for the Listening Session at The Centre by calling (727) 771-6000.
