First Mate Boating Class - Ages 8-18
Welcome to First Mate Boating Academy with a USCG Charter Captain. Students will learn boating and fishing skills needed to assist a Charter Captain and become a good First Mate. Skills will include boat prep/launch/mooring, catching/rigging live bait, rod casting, locating fish, boating safety, learning marine terminology and more. This academy is an on-going and progressive learning program. Students can earn certificates that reflect learning and experience. Learning will take place on the water in a boat and on dry land. Boats are limited to 6 students per boat. Ages 8-18
